Thunder Rematch?

As going into game 5 in the western conference finals, the OKC Thunder are looking to continue to win and go to the finals. Last time the Thunder and Heat met in the finals was in the 2012 NBA Finals. In an early win the Heat win in game 5 to win the series. Kevin Durant looking for another chance and win his first ring. But first, Kevin and the Thunder have to win against the San Antonio Spurs.

Houston Tries to Make a Deal

As Carmelo Anthony is headed into free agency, he has many options and a lot of teams are looking to find a deal to get him. Carmelo has been offered a trade to go to the Chicago Bulls with Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose. But there has been another team that has the talent and could possibly the next big thing in the NBA; the Houston Rockets. As a close game series to the Trail Blazers in the 2014 playoffs the Rockets want o improve on their team and they had a look out for Carmelo. Kevin McHale, the head coach of the Houston Rockets says he will be willing to trade anyone except for James Harden and Dwight Howard. He offered Jermey Lin and Omar Asik and 3.3 million dollars to the Knicks but the trade status is still undefined.

The End of the Road

Former Celtics' forwards Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett says that the end is near. The 36 year old veteran says that ''I think I have something to give to my team.'' He also says that he has at least 1-2 more years at most. '' ''The only reason why I'm in Brooklyn is for a ring'' Kevin says. After falling to the Miami Heat in a 4-1 game series, the Brooklyn Nets will improve for next year and hopefully do better one last time. 

Pacers Looking for a Win

Paul George and the Indiana Pacers are down 3-1 to the Miami Heat and have a chance today to change things in this conference finals. The Pacers having the slight advantage in game 5 because they're in Indiana this time. If Paul George can have a good game and score consistently and hold Lebron to a little number of points, they might be able to pull off this win to buy them some time.

Steve Kerr's Coaching Decision

As the Golden State Warriors and the New York Knicks are in need of a new coach, Steve Kerr is asked to pick one of those teams to coach. Five time NBA champion, will most likely choose the Golden State Warriors due to living reasons because he lives in San Diego with his daughter and wife. Steve also said that he has nothing to learn from the Knicks. He will be asked to choose a team soon.

The Big Blue's New Plan

After a bad season with the Giants they figured out what they needed to improve on and change. Head coach, Tom Coughlin said that he needed someone on offense who can be able to score a few points for the team. The Giants desperately in need for a new WR since Hakeem Nicks' departure, the Giants picked a 21 year old WR out of Louisiana State University, Odell Beckham Jr. As first round, number 12 pick the Giants feel a little more confident that they will be able to improve on their game next season. Eli Manning is looking forward to working with Odell.

M.C.W: Rookie of the Year

The Philadelphia 76ers starting PG rookie, Michael Carter Williams has been awarded the 2013-14 Rookie of the Year. He has been the third rookie ever since 1951 to lead all rookies in scoring. He averages 16.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. He also has received 104/124 first place votes to win.

6th Man of the Year: Jamal Crawford

The 2013-14 sixth man of year award goes to the L.A Clippers' Jamal Crawford. With a higher total of votes and points per game he was given this award. Averaging 18 points, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds a game, and also being one of the top sixth men in the league Jamal earned it.

The Gasol Brothers United

Lakers' Forward Pau Gasol is headed for free agency this year and doesn't know where to go. His options are the Phoenix Suns, Charlotte Bobcats, and the Memphis Grizzlies. NBA teams will try hard to pursue Pau , but his mid is set on joining his brother Marc in Memphis. We will find out his decision in July.
 

Rudy Gay Going To L.A?

Sacramento Kings' starting forward Rudy Gay has been linked of going to the L.A. Lakers. The Lakers have had a terrible season this year and wants to have Kobe Bryant get one more ring before he retires. He obviously can't do it alone after dealing with their lack of offense plays, injuries, and Pau Gasol leaving for free agency. The Lakers have come up with a plan to find a young talented player to wear the purple and gold jersey next season, and that player is Rudy Gay. 

Vick Pays For Number 1

Former QB of the Philadelphia Eagles, Michael Vick has went to the New York Jets. Everything seemed fine except for his jersey number. His two options were 3 and 8 for his jersey. He couldn't decide first, so he asked his fans and they picked number 3 for him. Instead of picking the fans choosing number he decided he wanted to buy number 1 of of the Jets' kicker, Ryan Quigley for $10,000. Michael Vick payed for that number and Ryan used the money in a good way and put all of it towards charity.

Chris Johnson Goes to the New York Jets

After Chris Johnson being let go off of the Tennessee Titans, he has made a decision of going to the New York Jets with former QB of the Eagles, Michael Vick. He has a two year $9 million contract with the Jets. Chris Johnson said that he feels ''comfortable'' for him to become a player for the Jets and the ''right decision''.

Warrior's Mark Jackson Fired

The Warrior's head coach, Mark Jackson been fired. General manager, Bob Myers said that firing Jackson was ''unanimous''. He also said he wants a head coach that can develop a synergy with everybody in basketball operation. A few days after the Warriors loss to the L.A Clippers, Myers thanked Mark for a successful year in making the playoffs but it wasn't enough.

2nd Round Playoffs

With 8 more teams to go in the playoffs, games have been getting even more competitive each game. LeBron and the Miami Heat are having no trouble at all in the playoffs yet for their 5th straight win and are feeling very confident. As of other teams, it's anyone's game. Many playoff upsets have occurred as in the Washington Wizards beating the Chicago Bulls in game 5. But the question still remains; Who will be able to take down LeBron James and his Miami Heat in the playoffs.

K.D Crowned MVP Award

OKC's small forward, Kevin Durant has been awarded the 2013-2014 Most Valuable Player Award. His 40+ consecutive games with more than 25 points has gave him the better advantage of getting this award other than LeBron James. Kevin Durant also made a comment about him not coming in 2nd place to LeBron James and is tired of it. He has proven himself by getting this award that he deserves.
